The Altun Estate is located adjacent to the Mikhaylovskoye Museum Reserve between Novorzhev and Pushkinskiye Gory. Nowadays the Lvov and Altun names are mostly known due to their close proximity to the lands of the Pushkins and the Hannibals.
"The residence used to be owned by I. Lvov, who sponsored construction of the southern aisle of the Svyatogorsk monastery. It was later inherited by A. Lvov, who A. Puskhin mentioned in his letters. The poet is also thought to have visited Altun."
